Three Seasons Ayurveda
Yoga & Ayurveda for…Digestion & Cleansing with Jeff Perlman
Saturday, May 6, 2017 – 2:00 – 4:30pm
Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences first document in the Vedas (original documents of India) over 5000 years ago. The corner stone of health is good digestion and the goal of Yoga and Ayurveda is to keep the body, mind and spirit in balance and harmony.
The digestive fire is known as “Agni” and it relates to metabolism, digestion, transformation and assimilation. When our systems are in balance these processes work effortlessly but sometimes during the holidays we tax our systems with possible excesses and you might feel sluggish and possibly out of sorts.
Please me as we sip on a stimulating digestive fresh ginger tea and discuss how Yoga and Ayurveda use holistic remedies to insure proper digestion, assimilation and elimination, this will be followed by a digestive yoga and pranayama practice to bring harmony and balance to the body, mind and spirit healthy balance.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of practitioner and student.
