Gavriella (Gavi) Rubin

Gavriella (Gavi) Rubin is a longtime lover of life. She came to Yoga 10 years ago as a way to enhance her physical experience but along the way, found so many other benefits to practicing Yoga: mental clarity, spiritual depths, joy, self-expression, and overall enhanced well-being. It is her mission to share these benefits and help others find increased well-beings in their own lives.

She is a dedicated lover of learning and hopes to be a student forever. She completed her BS at NYU in Applied Psychology and loves bringing elements of Positive Psychology into her Yoga classes. After completing her Undergraduate degree, Gavi went on to do a 200 hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Laughing Lotus in New York City and a 100 hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at the Metta Earth Institute in Vermont, focusing on the integration of Ecology and Yoga. Between the two trainings, Gavi had the opportunity to incorporate her love of music and nature with Yoga and tries to bring both elements to every Yoga class. She is now pursuing her Masters degree at LMU in Yoga Studies and certification in Yoga Therapy.

Gavi has taught Yoga in New York City, Costa Rica, Vermont, and now Los Angeles. She loves adventuring to new places and meeting new people.

When she’s not in the studio practicing or teaching, you can find Gavi biking around town, attempting to surf (mostly falling), making Jun (which she encourages you to please ask her about in person), and cooking up organic goodies!

If you take her class, there is a good chance you’ll listen to music from the folk/rock legends of the 60’s and 70’s, chant a mantra, have the opportunity to move your body a whole lot, and a chance to connect more deeply with yourself.
