LYW: What initially brought you to a yoga practice? How long have you been practicing?
Janie: My daughter was the first person to introduce me to yoga, in Santa Monica, MANY years ago.  I’ve been practicing regularly for about 10 years.

LYW: What brought you to LYW? And what keeps you here? How often do you practice?
Janie: An old friend (from high school!) introduced me to LYW and I instantly loved the intimate, welcoming setting.  The Saturday morning class is my favorite so unless I’m out of town, I try my best not to miss it….feels like an untangling of the week’s stressors.

LYW: Please share with us the benefits you receive from your yoga practice.  
Janie: I am simply yet profoundly more calm, centered and grounded after a yoga class.
