Tai Chi - Qi Gong

Class Update!

This beginner friendly class focuses on Tai Chi and Qi Gong fundamentals designed to increase mindfulness of movement, advance agility, and heal the body through natural methods immortalized by traditional Chinese methods.

Tai Chi is an artful form of exercise that aims to keep the body healthy by affirming balance, coordinating fluidity, and utilizing intention in movement. Qi Gong (literally translated to “breath skill”) is a complimentary exercise that increases the quality of your Tai Chi and helps integrate regulated breathing into the practice.

Maintaining looseness with strength, we develop the elasticity necessary to avoid the pitfalls of stiffness. All movements can be modified according to one's own body and personal capability. We start with the mind, progress to the body, and aspire for enlightenment.

Teri Roseman, C-IAYT, YTRx-800C, POLY-500, E-RYT-500, BA, executive director and founder, of LiveYoga Wellness, received her BA from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and is a graduate of the Yoga Therapy Rx programs at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Her approach to teaching and therapy is rooted by a deep belief in the healing power of yoga and meditation. In addition to hosting and facilitating workshops and seminars, Teri works one-on-one with clients, develops and teaches group and corporate programs. Teri has been incorporating essential oils into her yoga practice and general health and wellness regime for over a decade. And has transformed her suburban neighborhood front and backyard into a xeriscape/edible oasis to live within, where she resides with her dog, Isabella “Izzi”.
