Deanna Schultz is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), cancer exercise specialist (CES), and integrative wellness professional dedicated to supporting individuals through cancer recovery and beyond. As a breast cancer thriver herself, Deanna brings a deeply personal understanding to her work, integrating therapeutic movement, breathwork, and strength-based practices to help others rebuild confidence, enhance well-being, and renew their sense of vitality—at any stage of life.
With over 15 years of experience as an award-winning, multilingual media professional, Deanna transitioned into the health and wellness field after rediscovering the healing power of yoga, strength training, and dance during her own recovery. She now holds multiple credentials, including certifications from the Cancer Exercise Training Institute (CETI), the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as both a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist. She is also a certified Zumba instructor.
Deanna is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s Yoga Therapy Rx and Yoga & Healing Sciences programs in Los Angeles, where she received advanced training in integrative, therapeutic yoga. While at LMU, she also completed Dr. Larry Payne’s Prime of Life Yoga® certification, deepening her understanding of how to adapt yoga for midlife and beyond.
Now based in Frisco, Texas, Deanna brings her work to the North Texas community, offering compassionate, individualized support to those navigating recovery and wellness. Her diverse training and transformative life experiences have shaped a truly holistic approach—one that honors the connection between body, mind, and spirit. A lifelong learner, Deanna is continually expanding her knowledge and refining her methods to best serve her clients. With empathy, expertise, and lived experience, she creates personalized wellness programs that empower cancer patients and survivors to cultivate strength, build resilience, and enhance their quality of life.
