I tried four classes with three different instructors and all three were excellent. I was very happy to have discovered this studio because the instructors are very attentive to individual members’ injuries or other physical conditions which necessitate modifying yoga positions and/or movements to address such injuries or conditions. The non-competitive environment is focused on maximizing the therapeutic benefits of yoga, not on burning calories or having a strenuous cardio workout. Very happy to have discovered LiveYoga Wellness.
Loving Tai Chi class! 5 students tonight – 1 new. Jonathan is a sweet man and a wonderful teacher.
He is supportive and inspirational!

Thank you Teri, Michelle, and Andrea for sharing your passion and expertise during the Regeneration Retreat! I felt energized after the day incorporating yoga, meditation, nourishing food, and self –exploration with a community of lovely people. I would highly recommend this gift of self nurturance to anyone who could benefit from a day of delights for body, mind, and soul.
Best Yoga studio ever!!!!
Great classes and teachers are very knowledgeable.
Teri and her staff have an incredible knowledge base. LiveYoga wellness offers a truly profound yoga experience that goes beyond yoga as a form of exercise. Through the studio’s use of yoga therapy, you can expect to fully learn and understand yoga anatomy and healing the body without detracting from a relaxing and enjoyable yoga experience. LiveYoga Wellness has a true sense of community, where you will see familiar and welcoming faces time after time. Their practice and methodology makes yoga accessible to people of all ages, body shapes and abilities. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the uniqueness of this studio.
I started yoga a couple of years ago and at first was very overwhelmed with all the different classes and studios. After trying a few larger studios and feeling very lost I was very happy to find this little yoga studio.
I love the classes that are offered and the very knowledgeable teachers are wonderful. There is a lot of support and individual attention. If there is something I cannot do the teachers have a solution for me to strengthen my body.
These people are really kind and generous. They are willing to work with both experienced yogis and brand-new and in-pain beginners. There’s a lot of healing and therapy that gets done, but also fun and a gentle sense of community.

LiveYoga Wellness is an awesome place with great energy. Thank you for allowing me to practice with you while visiting LA.
I have been attending classes at LiveYogaWellness for several years. The teachers are amazing, especially Teri. She begins every class asking each participant about issues they may have with their bodies and tailors the class accordingly. During the years of being healthy, and some with a couple of serious injuries, I have always benefited from LiveYogaWellness. I highly recommend it!
Perfect for the yogi who is ready to inhabit themselves fullly!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been recommended to this studio for a number of years and finally when I was ready, I arrived on time! Thank you Teri for holding tight to your principles and applying them on the mat. With much appreciation and gratitude.

Dear Teri – I hope you are not tired of hearing this, but with each passing day I am increasingly grateful for you yourself, that you opened LYW and for your wonderful teachers (and helper Mary Ann) in our neighborhood studio. I feel stronger and more confident with each class and I feel like my physical body is being slowly retrained and improved with each pose and each breath. I am more aware of my (sometimes sore) arms and legs, but that leads to a calmer mind and pride that I am able to do something myself to improve my overall well-being as I age chronologically. All this improvement and reading your website posts has led to better eating so – Look! – one good trait is leading to others. As my body mass shrinks, forward folds and twists will become easier.
I see now that yoga is not just the poses and breath, but includes the focus on an intention and the calming of my mind and heart. The Big Yoga Picture. That is something that is missing at 24-Hour-Fitness and other gyms where people pound their bodies – they are missing the spiritual and “other centered” meditative focus. It all needs to connect in order to achieve inner and outer harmony.
Thank you a MILLION times over for bringing the studio to Holy Nativity. You are a true blessing. With gratitude and thanks
YOGA DAY RETREAT, JUNE/2011
I had a lovely, inspiring day – it was like a vacation in a day. When I got home my husband commented that he hadn’t seen me looking so relaxed for quite a while. I loved the two yoga classes and the meditation sessions as well as the drum entertainment. Teri and Sue are wonderful, caring instructors. I learned a great deal, and I have been inspired to begin my own meditation practice. I hope there are more Yoga Days in the future, as I am definitely interested in repeating the experience.
This Fall, I had the pleasure of working closely with Teri Roseman in my Yoga Therapy Selective course at the UCLA School of Medicine. As assistant faculty, her aid with practical yoga demonstrations, along with her substantial knowledge of yoga therapy, made her a truly valuable resource. In addition, her consistent hands on help with students in their yoga practice and meditation was integral and very much appreciated.

Teri has tremendous depth, knowledge, insight, passion and a never-ending thirst to learn. She applies all of this with calm, to her work as a yoga teacher and as an administrator. She is really like the center of a great wheel. Who better to open and develop a yoga community filled with love? I know for sure that LiveYoga Wellness will be exactly, that.

Teri understood my needs, and gave me the extra attention I wasn’t getting
in a class. She’s an absolute dream.
I love my classes at LiveYoga Wellness!
Wow …. finally attended Sonia’s mixed flow class on Monday evening. Awesome! Look forward to another Monday evening off! So, I have been incorporating vinyasa flow into my daily practice and feel some growth, expansion, healing … Anasas that I used to practice but never developed much before are beckoning … Warrior 3, Wheel, and other balance poses … grateful … ahhh … easy does it, little by little, listening … The power of practice and community support. Thank you LiveYogaWellness!!!

Teri is a living example of transformation. Through her Yoga and personal growth she has become younger than when I met her in 1989. We are lucky to have Teri in our neighborhood sharing her passion and knowledge.

Just got back from my doctor appointment…best news in four years thanks to LiveYoga Wellness and the circle of caring.
I am so impressed with all of the classes I have taken. The variety of teachers, the skilled and heartfelt approach of their teachings …. and the scheduling of classes allows me to have many attending options during my busy work week. If you live in Culver City, Inglewood, Westchester, El Segundo this is a great place to practice. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, adjacent to a church and community garden. Highly recommend this local studio! Very skilled instructors with a variety of backgrounds. Check it out!

The class (I attended) was perfect! I’m currently undergoing monovisc treatment for severe osteoarthritis in my knee. I haven’t been unable to do any yoga for 10 months, Teri was the perfect teacher for my return to yoga! I had missed yoga so much & her class was the prefect amount of stretch, movement & meditation/breathing. Thank you teri, for fine tuning a class for my broken knee.
