Celebrating eight years in Westchester! At the same time reminded that Yoga teaches us to be in the present moment, and right now my gratitude for the community that is the essence of LiveYoga Wellness and the village that sustains us is infinite.

We opened our doors in May 2010 with a mission to provide an environment for the local community to inspire and promote wellness. Our vision, to promote and enable self-health and healing through the mindful practice of yoga, meditation and other related classes and workshops. And to show that whatever your age, health or physical ability, the path to wellness is possible.

In the ensuing years in addition to ever growing community involvement with our local schools, community gardens and non-profit service providers, we have facilitated hundreds of classes, workshops and retreats attended by thousands of students. LiveYoga Wellness in recent years expanded it’s offering to include Corporate Programs and Integrated Healthcare options along with the private Yoga Therapy offered since inception.

Our roster of regularly scheduled yoga classes are suitable for “every body” and is peppered with specialized classes including, Therapeutic, Pre/Postnatal, Kids, Family and Tai Chi. Our teachers are all highly educated in the philosophy and practices of yoga as a lifestyle, many of them(*) C-IAYT certified yoga therapists through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT ).

Additionally we host private workshops and retreats created for the unique needs of your organization or institution. Our recent Blooming Mindfulness Retreat with The Foundation for Living Beauties supporting women on a cancer journey and the Care & Connection Yoga Workshop with The National Charity League, a non-profit mother daughter organization that supports multiple charities were received and appreciated by all! Reach out to let us know how we can create a lifestyle event for you or your organization.

As we grow and plan for a robust roster of future classes, workshops and retreats we want to know…

What does LiveYoga Wellness in our community mean to you? How has LiveYoga Wellness changed your life(style)? What first brought you into the studio? And what keeps you coming back? Inquiring minds want to know…

For me, it’s the little things, walking, biking or driving to the studio and seeing you do the same. When I walk in and see the room full of people setting up and catching up with one another, overhearing one student inviting another to holiday dinner because she had no local family to be with, and the simple joy of the teachings, the learning, caring connection, community, and the practice…
