For Individuals

The essence of Yoga Therapy is to create an individualized yoga practice to meet the specific physical and emotional needs of the client based on their abilities and goals. This one-on-one setting allows the yoga therapist and client to develop a trusting relationship, which allows the client to experience personalized healing that cannot be explored in a group class setting.

Each time the yoga therapist and the client meet, the practice is reviewed, evaluated and assessed, then modified to address the changing needs of the client. Sessions will include a range of techniques including yoga postures, breathwork, meditation (mindfulness and stress reduction), philosophy and lifestyle management. Having a personalized practice allows individuals to transform their well-being on the physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual levels in ways that cannot be accomplished in a group class.

Making ongoing small incremental changes based on a therapeutically oriented yoga practice result in significant improved outcomes in the short and long term.
