Ayurveda and Yoga are sister sciences first documented together in the Vedas around 3500BC.  Both of these holistic systems share the same philosophical beliefs, and are based in five elements found in our universe.  Yoga is defined as “Union” of the body, mind and spirt, and Ayurveda understands health and well-being by the balance of the three energies (doshas) in the body:

• Vata (Movement)
Pitta (Transformation)
• Kapha (Groundedness)

During this workshop we will cover the basics of Ayurveda, its connection to Yoga,  and how the five elements in the universe are connected to our five senses and their associated holistic therapies including bring harmony and balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
